College Trip to PVAMU

Last Friday, 48 English Language Learners and migrant high school students from Northside, Heights, Waltrip, Wisdom, Sharpstown, and Madison visited Prairie View A&M University. Students learned about the opportunities available to them after high school and toured the campus.

Students received a warm welcome from the Director of Multicultural Affairs and the Admissions Office staff who explained the different opportunities available to them when they graduate from high school and encouraged them to believe that “everything is possible with dedication and hard work.”

Later in the day, students toured the campus, visited the business school, engineering school, stadium, student center and got a glimpse of what living in a dorm/residential hall is all about.
